My Desktop and Laptop's problem still continues. It says ' A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer '. When restarted, it says ' Exiting PXE_ROM.....Boot Device - HD, CD-Rom/DVD, Diskette A, Internal LAN ' and so on. Did many to solve the same. Now planning to take it to the service center. Hope, my system's will recover soon.

never heard of anything even remotely related .. wth does that mean ??
google gives me some chinese pages .. :) .. never mind .. hope the service center can provide better help than the wide mouth WTH :)
if theres a computer there will be problems.. thats what mah engineer told me when i asked him y mah comp keeps having so much problem

Kalapna seems like a partition issue? TRY THIS:
It's probably that the partition you expected to boot was not active. To set it active you can use FDISK and you have a menu there to Set Active partition. Good luck!

Thanks to all! My system's got old.;) So planning to buy a new hard disk for one. The other is fine after formatting a drive. But the sound system is too odd. Might be, need to format it completely.:).
Do you have standalone LiVE Linux CDs like Knoppix or Ubuntu? if sp you can boot through CD to then and see if the hardware parts are ok
