This wonderful trip has filled joy in all our hearts. It took 3 hrs to travel from Chennai to Thiruvannamalai and the route picked was from Tambaram. It is one of the 5 element(pancha bhootha) temples of Lord Shiva which represents fire. After the darshan of Arunachaleswarar, Unnamulaiyaal and other deities in Thiruvannamalai, we headed towards Sri Mahalakshmi Golden Temple in Sripuram, Vellore. Here, to reach the main deity, we need to walk through the star shaped pathway, reading the thoughtful quotes displayed on either side and enjoying the beauty around.
