'God is like a mirror. The mirror never changes, but everybody who looks at it sees something different'.
This directly projects on our thoughts and the way we look at the situations. And here, our mind can also be our best friend or our worst enemy. It's in our power to make it one or the other. So, we need to know exactly what we want and what for are we here. We need to introspect ourselves. But will anyone know exactly what they want? Because wants do change with respect to time. And what for are we here... Do we ever ask ourselves? God is omnipresent. He is present everywhere and even within us. We just need to discover Him. And, we will.
This quote just made me to retrospect on my previous posts which talks about mind control and focus on enlightened path. Really, there is a lot to know in this world.

Kalpana,
Liked ur post.It is true that situations change, our needs change with time. Change is the only thing that is permanent in life. Often, situations around us go beyond our control. However, the decisions we make at each of these situations, our handling of them are purely influenced by our state of mind. The state of one’s mind is based on the impressions residing in it which keep ceaselessly expressing themselves as thoughts. These impressions constitute the intelligence. Hence, these thoughts that control our life, that mould our character and shape our destiny can be changed by changing the impressions in our mind. Yoga is the sure way to control mind (Seat of impressions). If one is of emotional nature, he can choose the path of Bhakti yoga. Reading scriptures, company with enlightened ones, chanting holy name are few of the several ways. If you don’t have a religion, serve your peers; perform charity wherever possible. All these acts would soon generate subtle thoughts which are manifestations of a mind with pure intelligence. If you already have developed bad impressions in mind (which often develop sub-consciously based on our past experiences), You can still annihilate, check the bad thoughts that arise out of it. Consistent practice will soon wither away the strong sub conscious impressions in mind and would eventually lead to subtle thoughts. Subtle thoughts are the best tools to discover the true purpose behind your life.
We reeflect daily with each interaction and the only difference is, is how we do it. The key is to keep the mirror clean to continue to bring out the very best...
